foreign investment in Ethiopia for manufacturing of paper by ANMOL Group of Companies, India. Inspite of all odds ANMOL started this paper making project, today largest in Ethiopia producing excellent quality papers which is totally import sutbstitute and saving lot of foreign exchange for Ethiopia. ANMOL Group of Companies have wide experience of paper manufacturing as parent company is involved in speciality chemicals manufacturing, technology provider for improvement of paper quality. The company is planning to further increase the production capacity of Paper, Duplex Board and also go into a integrated Pulp & Paper Mill by utilizing the available natural resources of Ethiopia, because literacy rate and paper requirement in Ethiopia is increasing continuously and today all pulp is imported. ANMOL Group wants to produce Pulp & Paper in Ethiopia for local consumption, as well as for exports to neighbouring countries. Presently the company is producing the following varieties of Paper :-
Machine Video :- In Anmol Products Ethiopia PLC we use waste paper and bought out unbleached and bleached pulp to make Testliner, Fluting Media, Writing Printing Pape, Colour Manila Paper and Sizing Paper.
First of all the waste paper or pulp is taken into High Consistency Pulper with the help of a Conveyor Belt to make pulp slurry of 10-15% consistency. From Pulper, the pulp is passed through Cleaning System like Poire, Centricleaners and then this pulp is refined with the help of High Power Refiners and finally in Mixing Chest and Machine Chest we add Speciality Chemicals, Dyes and Optical Brighteners for Sizing, strength properties etc. and this thin liquid slurry of pulp is taken to Paper Machine to form the desired paper. After rewinding and slitting the reels in desired size and testing by QC Department after approval the reels are packed for dispatch. In case of sheets the jumbo reels are cut into sheets by using our Jagenburg Sheeter Machine and then packed into reams. The whole process is controlled by our QC Department and we do regular testing of pulp and paper at different stages to ensure the best quality paper.
